Back from PAX

We arrived back from Melbourne International Games Week and PAX late last night. We had an amazing time meeting backer and so many new wonderful fans and awesome people! Everyone was so incredibly kind and nice. We had an amazing time!

 We had people playing all day every day and everyone was so patient to wait their turn. We answered so many questions and spoke all day so our voices were gone by day 3!

 I couldn't have done it without my amazing goblin team! We had an incredible time and it was such a great experience. We met a lot of wonderful people and learnt a lot about doing an expo!

Lets not forget our amazing goblins in all this excitement! Here are some of the new goblins our amazing artist has been working on while we worked at PAX!

Final Days

So we are into the last 3 days of the campaign now. We've comfortably made our goal and it looks like we could at least get to the seasons stretch goal with a bit of luck. We had over a dozen interviews at PAX and hopefully those media outlets will be running stories this week before the campaign ends. In hindsight I should have maybe left a bit more time post PAX to allow for articles to come out. When I set up the campaign a week seemed like enough - I know better now. But lets see how it goes. I will be chasing up all the media we met the next 3 days and sending out lots of reminders on Twitter and Facebook. Please keep being amazing and do it with me. We only have 3 days left, lets make great things happen!!

A special goblin paladin and 500 likes!

Greetings Goblins!

I hope you all had a great week? We sure did! The pledges keep rolling in and the support from everyone is really overwhelming and so positive its incredibly motivating!

Big Ears

I mentioned in a previous update that characters from the webcomic Goblins will be in our game as Heroes (that can either be hired or could attack your village) and today I'd like to show you the first version we've made of one of these awesome goblins. His name is Big Ears and he's the kick ass paladin in the Goblins Adventuring Pary. He actually just had a really awesome moment in the comic, so its sweet that we can show him off today!

500 likes on Facebook!

We made our first Social Goal! So we will work with our Facebook community to create a unique story moment with them that will make it into the game! 

 

 At 1000 Likes the Facebook community will get to design a hero with me through voting on the Facebook page. So if you are interested in achieving that and taking part please like our page and keep sharing our content and of course keep telling people about our game!

Our Twitter Goals are getting close also, so if you are on twitter please keep sharing and retweeting our pinned tweet to unlock these fun stretch goals and make more people aware of the campaign!

 

 We are at 1658 followers and 80 Retweets. It wont take much to unlock the first to goals and we get to make more cool stuff with you! :D

Join us at 12:30 NZDT 16 October 2016. I'll just be making some environment art for some new levels and taking questions from the chat about the campaign and anything goblin related. So come and join me if you like.

We're all set and ready!

Today was the setup day and everything is in place and ready. 2 other goblins are joining me tomorrow to attend and help out at PAX. We're super excited and cant wait to have everyone play our game!

 Its going to be chaos the next 3 days! Wish us luck!

Fumbles!

In other exciting news we bring you Fumbles to round out the GAP Heroes:

Hope you guys like! We'll be going over our 4 awesome goblin heroes with some polish and fixes before finalizing them into the game!

Stretch Goal

With all the excitement its easy to forget that we are still pushing towards the stretch goals - we have lots of press lined up at PAX where they will be playing our game and hopefully do some nice reviews and articles, this can easily jump the funding by huge amounts. We are also running the banner ad I shared with you guys last time on twitch during the event which you should look out for. So have faith that we can reach some of our stretch goals!

I will try update everyone after PAX to let you know how it went!

Thank you to all you amazing goblins for making this happen and getting us here. I'm off to Australia later today, so flying with the knowledge that we're funded is just incredible.
